Batman in galaxy far far away?
And he’s racist against clones.
Excuse you. Storm troopers are not clones.
Percentage depends on the exact year.
Or did Disney retcon that?
They retconned that, too. But even in the EU the clones were relegated to training roles and quickly died off
I am pretty sure the European Union has no Clones in the Militaries. But well, that all depends on percentage ;)
Expanded universe silly
They age really quickly. The whole accelerated growth thing from childhood to adult in 2 years can’t exactly be stopped.
True, If it was Clone Troopers you could maybe make the argument that he has some possibility misguided beliefs that clones don’t have a soul or they had empathy and emotions removed in the cloning process.
But Storm Troopers are essentially the 9-5 every man of the empire who either was compelled or joined just for the scholarship. It’s Kinda Fucked up.
An ‘absolute’ galaxy far far away.
I don’t get it.
The panels are from the recently released Absolute Batman #1 from DC Comics. The word bubbles in a couple panels were edited to tie it to Star Wars.
Oh, that explains it. Thanks.
I’m guessing the Absolute line is supposed to be like Marvel’s Ultimate line or something? I saw some pics of the Absolute Wonder Woman yesterday… it’s wild, she has a tattoo covering her arm and a massive Cloud Strife sword that is bigger than her. The art is frickin beautiful
Exactly.
Not from a star wars crossover unfortunately. This is absolute Batman, a Bruce Wayne who is just a city engineer not a billionaire so he makes all his gear from what he can find
What is this, a crossover episode?
I know he doesn’t care about chopping limbs off in Absolute. But is he killing people too?
Of course not!
Stormtroopers aren’t people.
(I know nothing about the actual comic)
wat
Alternatively: “Blasters aren’t guns.”
It’s notable how identifiably the gun on the page is drawn as a KSG. Outside of “gun focused” comics like The Punisher, comicbook guns have a habit of being wonky unidentifiable models.
