Is 3K considered cheap or costly in the US for nursing home? In any case, this food doesnt look appetizing at all. In India, we still havent gotten these as currently the children are expected to care for their older parents. I am from India. It was illegal to fly the flag untill a decade ago. It took a supreme court verdict to get the right to fly the flag in private residences. So it is not common at all. You would see government buildings and some schools hoist the flag every day. In my school it was every Friday. I have walked around suburbs in US and almost every house had a flag in their porch. Very big ones too.

Jerboa has been good so far. Somehow the discussions on lemmy feels more engaging than on reddit. Might be because there are no bots regurgiating comments. But the lack of my favourite subreddits have helped my phone addiction 😂 Hopefully this will be rectified soon 😉

Someone was experiencing paranoia and suspected his landlord of breaking and entering his house and writing stuff on his notepad and such. A reddit commenter asked him to check for carbon monoxide levels and it turns out his home had higher levels of co and could have turned fatal. I am always inspired by that and how a random person can save another person’s life by sharing his knowledge in time. That’s truly legendary.
