    I don’t think you should be that concerned attracting people that are just now migrating from reddit.
    Anybody who still used reddit up until a week ago doesn’t care about free speech at all, if he isn’t actively against it that is.
    The free speech side of the fedi as a whole is much more fun than the censoring one.
    Overtime the ban happy side will fracture into multiple completely isolated instances just like the mastodon/pleroma side has.

    On the other hand there is a gigantic pool of people that have been leaving reddit for the past decade or so and either went to small forums, pleroma or imageboards. Reddit becoming a hyper censored corporate storefront was a gradual process.
