However as his father had tried to restructure religion his name was changed. His father forbade worship of Amon (and took the name Amun out of his own name ‘Amenhotep’ (Amun is satisfied)), and changed it to direct worship of the sun (aten).
So when he died his changes where reverted and his son rechristened (re-amunized?). Als they tried to wipe his memory from the historic record. Poor sickly king Tut wasn’t too live long.
