What will prevent the votes for “Best Voice Performance” in language categories other than English and Japanese from having votes coming from people that don’t watch in all those languages?
Telling people “don’t vote on these if you didnt hear them, we trust you” is an awful way to do it because nobody will do that. Including only a sample of the voice acting is not going to be reflective of their entire performance as a character and can lead to bias due to differences in scenes or other reasons.
Since you need to be logged into your CR account to vote, I believe those categories are only presented to people that have consumed media in those languages. For example, I just went to the voting site and just was presented with the option to vote in only English and Japanese.
