Hello guys, i just inherited a Redmi Note 8 Pro. I’ve been using LineageOS for a lot of time, and I really like the way I managed to set up everything.
I’ve been searching and because of the processor (MediaTek) it is hard to install Roms, but I really hate MIUI and Google ecosystem, and I don’t want to go back to it.
It is really important for me that the rom doesn’t have google services.
Any recomandation? I’ve seen roms like:
- CrAndroid
- Unofficial LineageOS
- HavocOS

I’m on crDroid with stock GApps and I think this ROM works great. There’s just a tad more customisation and stuff like that than on LineageOS that I don’t mind but otherwise it almost feels like I’m on a phone released by Google.
You can omit GApps if that’s your preference, of course, the ROM still works. Stock apps are LineageOS apps as far as I can tell and updates come in quite regularly, especially compared to MIUI.
