Also a former rif user, and I also really like Jerboa. But I haven’t been able to use it for awhile now, with the update/server weirdness.
Your boss was probably so confused, lol. At least I never got as far as calling work before realizing!
Or you’re like me, and you panic, thinking you somehow slept through the night and it’s 8:37 AM, so you sprint around in an adrenaline-fueled frenzy, trying to get ready because you’re already super late for work, and why didn’t anyone call/wake you up?!?! And then you realize it’s dusk outside, and everybody else is home, and you feel stupid.
And that, my friends, is why I use a 24 hour clock now.

I use the message app that came with my phone, lol. No one in my life seems to use anything else, either.

Right now I’m trialing Jerboa, Connect, Lemmy, and Liftoff. Jerboa is frozen for me until lemmy.world updates to 18.1 but I really like it. I like Liftoff and Connect, too, so I’ll keep trying them as they continue to develop and decide down the line which I like best.

I had all that disabled, so I have no idea if anyone was ever following me. And I deleted my rif app on the 11th haven’t been on Reddit since, so I will never know.
This is the reddit Lemmy community, so I think it is actually you who should be answering why you would do this.
Also, the shitshow is fun to watch, and as someone who was on old Reddit when it was the only reddit, I’m interested in its downfall. I haven’t been on Reddit since the blackout started, so this is how I get my updates.
