Haha I did get some light chuckles from How Poopy Got His Poop Back. I think the episode was supposed to be slightly serious though so I don’t judge it too much, it’s definitely far from the worst Rick & Morty episode ever
Lemmy sucks.

They both sound WAY better in the episode than in the promos. Rick still sounds a little off when shouting, but he isn’t shouting most of the time, which Harmon wisely pointed out in this interview.
I loved it too. The only thing I could think of is, it has a veneer of goofiness that people might find strange or obnoxious.
But it’s one of those few films that I feel like a sociopath wouldn’t enjoy at all due to how emotionally charged it is lol (for legal reasons that’s a joke)
I completely forgot about The New Mutants lol
Whoa…I can’t believe I didn’t know this!
Also you’ll be confused if you haven’t seen any of the Spider-verse movies. That “time-slipping” is pretty similar to what’s been happening to Miles Morales off and on in the movie series.
I thought that everything made sense at the end
What the heck…my bad. I meant to put this in @news@narwhal.city.
I’ve sworn off piracy which is interestingly why I wish Netflix did physical media releases.
I’d rather buy a show than buy access to the show.
I like the MCU but I don’t really like a lot of the more recent stuff. I’m loving Loki though, but…it’s kinda just becoming the superhero equivalent of the Fast & Furious franchise. Just more of the same with each new entry.
I don’t really like Netflix though since they aren’t very good at doing iTunes or physical media releases…
I’m probably a minority in that complaint though.
Not sure how I feel about this. But I think we’d be mistaken if we assume that A24 movies are so good just because they’re arthouse films.
It doesn’t seem like you care much about audio and visual fidelity, and those are the only real reasons to go to the theater IMHO
It’s absolutely worth it. You’d need so many tens of thousands of dollars to get similar fidelity at home that you might as well shell out $15 or $20 for a movie ticket instead
I’m expecting a return of form in S02E01 too. It was mostly setup for the premise, I suspect.
My only problem with it was that the second half was confusing until the end, when they show you what they were trying to do.
I hope it’s true, cuz S02E01 was pretty good
I think it’s a tad bit overrated but it’s still a really good movie. Got the biggest applause of any movie I’ve seen in person at the theaters, and the second biggest audience I’ve seen this year (second only to Barbie ofc). Pretty hard to watch though.
What an awesome movie. I’m not on board with transhumanism but I must say they still make you feel for the robots to some degree. You don’t have to buy into the ideology to enjoy this film.
Also, like, how the heck are child actors this good?? Like it should have been illegal for Madeleine Yuna Voyles to be as great as she was in this movie. Bravo.
I can’t believe this article is new, this happened months ago at the least. @Marbleturtle@theres.life sent me this meme making fun of it earlier this year:
