I have enough PTSD from the aptly named TouchWiz era. I simply can’t imagine all those Samsung executives nodding approvingly with the powerpoint presentation in their offices.
I enjoy occasional co-op gaming with people I know personally. Faceless strangers teabagging me and throwing racist insults like raging 13 year olds who just got addicted to Mountain Dew? No thanks bud, I’d rather spend an entire day scrolling through Netflix catalogues without actually watching them or something.

Schools and universities in principle should be the place where they’re introduced to what really means to own a computer. The trend however seems to give out everyone a locked down e-waste with proprietary restrictions all over the place.
We could have gone for already proven and tested conventions like the resistor color codes and have a unique distinguishable icon for each features to attach when needed (like thunder icon for high power). But nope, we got this USB 3.2 Gen 4 2x2 Hyper Turbocharged World Champions and Knuckles Platinum Edition bs instead.
The early internet also had personal website vanishing or being abandoned all the time. Static webpages don’t need constant maintenance but it’s more noticeable when it’s a community.
