Got excited until I realized it wasn’t the Outer Wilds…
Outer Worlds is a fun game. Outer Wilds is a game I won’t ever forget.
It’s not that powerful of a jet of water. I mean, I’m sure there is some, but if you’re doing it right, only the parts you want to get wet are getting wet. Besides, the alternative is like using a paper towel to clean peanut butter from a shag carpet.
Taco Bell, but not from like an actual Taco Bell, from one of those food court “express” ones with the limited menu that’s always out of something like sour cream.
That we all accept that working our butts off for at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with only around 2 weeks of vacation a year in the hopes that we can save just enough to retire at 65+ is normal. The social contract is broken, and everyone except the top 1% of earners is paying the price.
LTT has always felt too smug for my tastes. Particularly Linus himself. It’s to the point that none of the revelations coming out about LMG and their internal drama is particularly surprising. It’s exactly the kind of behavior I’d expect from a “we can do no wrong” kind of group.
Demeo has become the unexpected game of choice for my friends and I.
I once heard a theory once that most boomers are “the way they are” because of the amount of lead they all were exposed to due leaded gasoline. The three most common effects of long term lead exposure are developmental delay, learning difficulties, and irritability. Zero evidence of course, but it sure would explain a lot.
Here are a few that I really enjoy (though their level of “unknown-ness” is debatable):

Currently on my phone:

it’s kinda niche, but since you asked: The SANS Internet Stormcenter Daily Cyber Security Podcast:
It’s only shared locally on the server you share it on. If you want to share it to other communities, you need to explicitly share it on those communities on the remote servers.
Agreed, this is not the solution I’m looking for. It’s not quite there in terms of user on-boarding, but I’m rooting for Mastodon.
Neil Gaiman. The man can write novels, YA novels, graphic novels, children’s books. And they all have such well crafted worlds that you just want to lose yourself in them.
I also think Neal Stephenson and Corey Doctorow deserve WAY more attention than they get.
