For me Gnome on Wayland crashes when KDEnlive crashes and takes down the whole desktop.

not just that, the Just Perfection dev argued that they (extension devs) much rather have that instead of an API because the API wouldn’t be as flexible/free
EEVDF is the thing that is exciting about it.
what issues? I am considering either an Asus Zenbook or a Thinkpad or a Macbook and recently I’ve heard bad things about modern thinkpads.
that sounds so funny ngl
til about this, but like, I doubt anyone uses this in a racist way though, far from it.

I use Linux full time since 2020, and have known it since 2013~, but I don’t ever recommend it to anyone. It’s full of papercuts.
I wonder how much price increases stem from a lack of creativity in finding more nicer ways to be profitable, and overall inefficiency of their operations

which should be a built-in feature.
why should it? It’s pretty clear that GNOME does it’s own thing than copy the rest of the OSs. They do copy some stuff though. And at least you can install extensions and the extensions that exist are pretty cool, even if I just run vanilla GNOME.

I actually remember reddit posts complaining they hit the same bug as he did, some days prior and also some days later lol
People get used to it, it’s “fine” but doesn’t improve considerably or add anything exciting, so people get bored. I moved from Firefox to Chrome, and honestly Chrome feels smoother and uses less ram seemingly for me on my laptop. Aside from no support for vaapi on wayland, chrome is fine imo
That’s really odd. I have been using it for like 3 years so far and I haven’t had many problems like those, and when I did they were intel/amd gpu driver bugs/crashes or kdenlive as I mentioned before.
