Movies and TV and stories talk about how there’s 6 months of daylight and 6 months of darkness. That does not fucking happen. This is still part of storytelling to this day (I’m looking at you, Sweet Tooth season 3).

Days get stupidly long in the summer, and there’s a while where the sun really doesn’t go down. in the Winter days get stupidly short, and there’s a while where it doesn’t really come up all that much. But it’s not 6 months of one and 6 months of the other.

The first movie was actually pretty great for it’s time

Goodness. Did we see the same movie? Even with the better-than-Money-For-Nothing graphics the first one was not all that great of a movie to start with. Plus it tried to cash in on the hot streak that Stephen King stories were on at the time: the movie had nothing to do with the short story of the same name.

Still, I do not doubt your claim that the sequel was horrible.

hey GTX1080 user! Have you been able to get any games running with RTX? I picked mine up used a while back, and I kinda stopped PC gaming ages ago, but it’d be nice to use these features if I could. I haven’t been able to get RTX Portal or RTX Quake 2 to work right via Steam, so i figured the card/drivers just can’t handle it and I should just play vanilla DOOM instead.
