I understand some people need to use Windows for a variety of reasons, but I switched to Linux a while back and love it so much
Samsung though: phones, tanks, healthcare equipment
I like the name and it’s a smaller server than many which is nice
Shut down just as I started using it :(
Sideloading is super helpful and feels necessary to having useful, open technology. I’m glad Japan is introducing laws to require it and other countries should too.
I like Lemmy much more than reddit and found it harder to use before due to the lack of people. Now that there are more people it’s even more fun and I’m hoping others feel similarly :) I don’t see a reason to go back to reddit
The delete button is so easy to accidentally click 😞
I used Fedora for a while but now I’m using OpenSUSE and I like it
I’ve used Mastodon, Calckey, Pixelfed and Bookwyrm and found all of them to be pretty cool. So far I’ve liked Lemmy and ever since I found out about the frdiverse I’ve found it’s interconnection of so many platforms to be helpful
I had been without a Reddit account for a while using Infinity (3rd party app) without being logged in. I didn’t care about being able to post of comment but it’s much more fun on Lemmy! Lemmy is much nicer than Reddit in my opinion and I’ll end up stopping using Reddit completely
Joined today and it seems great so far 😃
Firefox, but Vivaldi seems cool and I might start using it in on mobile.
