I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I haven’t been a huge fan of the other two, so I wasn’t in a rush to see this one. I guess Rocket’s story connected with me on an emotional level more than the others did. Really enjoyed Chukwudi Iwuji’s over the top High Evolutionary. Love a good over the top bad guy.

So yeah, my personal favorite out of the three.

Just saw it, and I feel like in some ways I’m still recovering from the experience. This might be his best film. The cheering. Man, the cheering is what will stay with me. As will that last line of dialogue.

I LOVED this one. I will never forget those three weird witches. So much striking imagery.

Agree with most people’s takes. Cg was bad. Miller want great. Etc… The humor didn’t work for me, but that’s pretty subjective.

I thought the design of all the multiverse/time travel stuff was pretty boring. Crono-bowl? What?!? The scene with Flash running back in time in The Justice League is one of the more beautiful things I’ve seen on screen in a superhero movie… I was hoping for more of that, but most of the design in his movie was boring and uninspired.

It was fun seeing Keaton’s batman again! Sasha Calle was awesome! I didn’t even hate the cg cameos, I just really hope the family/estate signed off on the appearances.

Yup. Pretty sure I caught a scene where they straight up forgot to put in batman’s cg cape.

I think he forgot how to read English. I suspect had he remembered how to switch his padd to a Vulcan script, he would have been able to read that. Maybe.

The romance stuff felt very forced to me too

I gotta say, it wasn’t my favorite. The save baby hitler plot fell flat for me. Kirks death scene was both predictable and rushed. I usually like time travel episodes AND I was looking forward to a La’an-heavy episode, so I’m a bit disappointed.

Also really starting to miss Pike? Kinda weird.

Carol Kane’s Pelia continues to make me smile, she is a delight. Possibly the first reference to poutine in star trek? Also a Denobulan sighting! Yay!

Oof. They were way over the line to say things like that, and to double down and get angry when you expressed that you’d been hurt is so unacceptable.

If it were me, I would limit social interaction with them until an apology that demonstrates understanding is given freely.

But that’s not the biggest point. The biggest thing is that you ARE valid. Your diagnosis is valid (even self-diagnosis). You don’t have to justify your existence to bigots. Ever. Sorry this happened to you. We see you. It sucks that people suck.
