Gotta start somewhere.
Gotta start somewhere.
To the Moon.
It’s a short story that’s made into a game. The gameplay piece of it is minimal, but it’s all about the story. I can’t say too much about it buts it’s an absolutely beautiful story with SNES style graphics that reminds me of the movie Arrival.
Had me speechless… Didnt know how to exist for a few after…
Have you looked at your phone recently? That’s all that thing is unless you literally don’t use it for anything other than calls and texts, and even then, phone manufacturers are constantly constructing their OS to guide you to other functions.
This is my same argument for gun ownership as well. While I’m not against people owning guns, to think that us civilians would survive any decent length of time of the government finally came down on us is laughable.
No, the way it is currently is any time someone in the news that is seemingly healthy but has a major heart issue (for example Bronny James) they immediately jump and say “IT WAS THE VACCINE!”.
I left out of principle but there are a few communities I’ll scan from time to time because they don’t quite exist here and I don’t have the energy to make it myself.
Oh you mean the unregulated, gambling industry?
Less factual input and more “bro this just sucks, trust me”.
My guess is this. Tong probably said “Linus, shut the fuk up and disappear for a little bit”.
Jay-Z 2 cents has a pod called RTFM if you like his content. Not necessarily the same but still in the tech world.
I’m not in the crowd of should be, and I’m all for second chances. But, I could see why someone wouldn’t want Linus, and a company under his name, to not be successful because of who he is and what’s happening. Liking a product but not the person behind it is ok. Making a choice not to support either is also ok.
Yeah seems like he has that overboard personality. Everything needs to be max effort, 100% of the time. And it probably got him where he’s at, up until recently. But not everyone or everything operates that way. Things eventually break down or have issues, and I think we’re starting to see some of that now.
Unfortunately, he went from a small, buddy buddy business to a now large, corporate business still trying to hang onto the way they used to do things. Kind of like closing a deal with a handshake. Things don’t operate like that anymore. People need to be held accountable, documents need to be signed and filed away…
Hindsight is 2020 and all, but I did always feel like something was a bit off with his demeanor (Linus). First I thought it was just his camera voice/personality, but now I’m thinking it’s just him turned up (or down) a notch…
Lol it’s like going back in time. I remember the days when sites wouldn’t support certain browsers because of differences in programming (accidental, if you will). Now, we’ve gone full circle and are intentionally blocking use of a site when not using a particular browser. Wouldn’t this be considered monopolistic?
I mean, it’s valid, if not for the incorrect reason. I personally fast past breakfast all the time , mainly because I’m not a huge fan of it. Otherwise, yeah…
I agree. This situation is a bit different, but my point was the general idea of price gouging of a product.
Nothing wrong at all with charging for the main version to support development as long as it’s not gouging. I don’t think this is gouging in the slightest.
Yeah looks like I’m going to have to start moving off as best as I can as well.
Don’t think I can do it completely but I’ll try my best.
Create a problem. Generate a paid for solution. ??? Profit!
Outside of gaming, I play softball regularly. Run multiple teams and sub when I can during the season.
Probably going to pick up electric guitar soon too. Been dying to learn just haven’t had time.
