Oh! So they know most of the people still on their platforms are gullible doom scrollers they can milk with crypto or whatever monetization scheme they want. They know they’re scum and are cool with it.

yeah and some countries with popular tld’s (.fm,.tv) like the revenue they generate and have no interest in disturbing that situation. That said, there’s always a risk, especially since things can change, governments change etc.

I usually take the angle of asking them if they act differently when they know they’re being watched and to imagine a life where they’re always watched.
