i’m on my third day of a sore throat. doc confirmed it’s not strep, and i do seem to be slowly recovering, but ugh being sick sucks.

my first dog as an adult was named gambit because my partner at the time was reading comic books, and gambit was in them. such a good name!

loki is the second dog i got as an adult, also named after the marvel character. couldn’t find an x-men name that fit him.

jean grey… well, you see the theme yet? i really wanted a jubilee, but she’s so much more of a jean bean.

might go see a silly yacht club band tonight. attending a birthday party tomorrow. riding ~40 miles out on sunday morning, then taking the train back home that evening.

oh hello! i am in the triangle as well. i also work from home. i don’t have any children, i do have two dogs (and a rotating foster opening). occasionally some folks from the local mastodon server will get together to hang out, so i wonder if that could be a social option?
