I installed naildown prefinished hardwood in the majority of my house. It was the first major project we did, so therefore the one we would live with the longest, and I wanted to love it and really improve the character of the house. Installing it really wasn’t that much worse than cheaper click lock floors.
If you don’t feel that strongly about it, LVP has gotten much better.
They think they are too big to fail and enough users will stick around up voting repost bots that it will be profitable.
I can remember keeping a book at my desk because my computer could barely run Morrowind and the load screens took forever.
It really depends on how you interacted with Reddit. A lot of my engagement was with smaller subreddits that sometimes had user bases that weren’t necessarily the most tech savvy. I’m not sure how long it took some of the older people on r/quilting to find it, but I’m sure it will take them longer to find the Lemmy version.
