That’s so fucked up!
That’s my interpretation. Like I’ve said, I don’t believe in the existence of soul or permanence of it.
Reincarnation is real, in some way. I interpret reincarnation as this: One hydrogen atom in my body could have been the exact hydrogen atom which was part of Isaac Newton’s body. Or a carbon atom in me was one which was part of a bacterium’s. :) About the eternity of a soul, or even the existence of it, I don’t believe.
What’s your PC specs, and let us check it. :) And what year did you buy your PC?
Buddha said, when you’re angry, count to ten. When you’re still angry, count another ten.
Seriously though, most of the time getting mad isn’t worth it. It makes you look bad, makes you inefficient and at the same time makes you and other people feel bad. It’s overall, if we are thinking logically, a negative condition/ situation to be in. Getting angry/ mad brings nothing to the table.
Try to think like this, every time you’re about to get mad: is getting mad brings anything? Would it change the situation? Can the things already happened be undone? Do I have other choices other than accepting it and fixing the situation? What should I do next? Once you can think like that, calmly, I am sure that you can stop getting mad.
The problem is, most of the time/ very often, you’re not even aware that you’re angry/ getting angry, and you let your emotions take control of you. That’s why you have to train yourself to be aware of your thoughts/ feelings most of the time, and in that way you can react accordingly, consciously, doing what would be your best action/ most logical action. Some people can achieve this through practicing meditation. I’m sure, once you are more aware on what and how you feel most of the time, you would be able to control your actions/ emotions much better.
Never seen any semicolon in any German sentences. And I live since 9 years in Germany.
How about disco Elysium?
I’m scared to do torrent man. I didn’t care about it when I was in Indonesia. Now I live in Germany, and now I’m scared of doing it.
Hey how about bike man
What’s wrong with kurz gesagt?
Many countries are forced to do that, because if they don’t, they would be the one being exploited.
I’m an Indonesian, and this thing with nickel export ban makes me upset a bit.
Everyone is doing anything to gain advantage on international politics/ economy… when the western block are the ones on the receiving end, they don’t think it’s good. The exploitative acts have been occurring since the colonial times.
I’m all for cooperation for all countries. I’m all for free movements, free trade for whole world. I’m even against nationalism and I don’t think it as a virtue. I really think that people should live as one and I really think geopolitics are bullshit. I think the formation of the European Union is a move in a right direction, but why define it to Europe? Why not for the whole world? In this all of us have to work together. The reason why it’s going in this way, is because what has happened before.
The Singaporean are forced to do that because of how small their land is. In places where single family unit shouldn’t be a problem (Europe or States), it shouldn’t be forced to make the people to live in a multi family unit.
Owning an extra house should be punished (financially) to discourage people buying houses only to rent them away.
What’s wrong with it?
This is one of the reason why I think the price of property should be regulated somehow by the government. The cost/ tax of a second house should be exponentially higher to discourage people doing this, so that a renting a second house should be a financial catastrophe. Capitalism, free market does not work, especially for basic human needs (food, shelter, health, energy, and if I may say education).
I myself bought my house 2 years ago, and the price was already ridiculous. Let’s say I paid almost 100k€ more than the estimated worth of the house (cause of market price). I’m pretty sure the price will collapse after some time. The price can increase 30-40 percent in 3-5 years. It’s crazy. The money invested here is much higher than I did when I was renting an apartment tho.
I’m so saving this
Sounds great! I still don’t think that a cargo bike is very safe. Especially for a baby. :(
It definitely crosses my mind, that I’d do that if the kid is getting older. But definitely not before 2-3 years old.
I haven’t bought a car yet. I’m still in paternal leave so I can manage to do everything. Once I start working, let’s see how well we are doing without a car. :)
Yeah. It’s very difficult. Going to pediatrician for example. Or if it’s raining. It’s so troublesome to bring a baby with a bike in that situation.
I don’t dare to bring my now 3 months old baby with bike. The weather is still "summer"y now. In winter I wouldn’t do it. I myself have fallen down from bikes at least 4 times in the last couple of years. I can’t imagine if that happens while I’m taking my baby with bike.
I’m a doctor so I know how dying people act. It’s unrealistic that a dying person, like a couple of seconds before he/ she’s completely gone, to talk much sense. They speak random stuff, disoriented, or in a complete panic state until they lost their consciousness and then die short after.
