Naw, it’d be a fun episode where Moss gets REALLY into roguelikes

The Dimension 20 crew from Neverafter are gonna have to get real good at Minecraft RAD 2
I like how it started with a smaller Fuck Spez until some group clearly went “nah, we need to go bigger”
Legit. It’s been great, keeping up while not having to actually do anything that might support reddit.

It’s the ol’ Blizzard “Look, we’re introducing a new character who might be gay! There’s no lore that references it anywhere, we’re just tellin’ you they’re gay or lesbian, aren’t we great!” kind of maneuver. Ooh, look at the special thing we’re doing, aren’t we playful and fun?
For the record, I’m all for inclusiveness, I just use Blizzard as an example since they used to be just so transparent about that before the really dark times.
Sure, but one person’s shovelware is another person’s cherished childhood. We should preserve what’s been created as much as reasonably possible, simply for the record.
I’ve had that happen before when I used to work at Arby’s.
First customer of my shift, and this monster pays for a regular roast beef sandwich entirely in pennies. It was roughly 450~ pennies. I was ready to murder.
The difference is, though, if you care enough, you have the capability of finding out what’s in the code, the only limiters at that point are yourself
In closed source, you just have to trust the publisher and developers
haha yeah that song
do you uh happen to have a link
nono, I want to watch it ironically, my interest absolutely wasn’t piqued by “anime thighs”
The never ending ouroboros of reposted content :D
I’m only hopping on reddit momentarily if I’m looking for specific information. For my casual browsing, I’ve largely transitioned over to here, and I’m enjoying myself immensely.
I’m not surprised it’s a huge drop, but there’s a vindictive part of me that wants the bleeding to continue.
No matter what your source of information is, you always have to be mindful and take information in context, and be sure to validate unproven claims. There’s a thousand interests competing for your attention and loyalty, and a lot of it is driven through fear and uncertainty.
Any fearmongering about China makes me uncomfortable, as it should every rational thinking person. Just like fearmongering against everyone should be viewed with suspicion.
Be careful out there, everyone. It’s a wild jungle.
I was never a hardcore Reddit user, just a casual scroller, and I have to say, with the Connect android app and after subscribing to a few communities, my experience has largely been the same. It’ll be better when/if more people migrate over I feel like, but in terms of the actual experience, it’s already slightly improved from Reddit.
Other than the occasional bugs, but anything getting stress tested is going to experience growing pains, and it’s kind of charming. Like, new mmo launch charming. :D
I am a documentation writer at my day job. I spend an obscene amount of time writing and rewriting support materials for our software to make sure the instructions are as clean as possible. The end users of the software are busy doctors and nurses so I get why they dont have time to read and just want quick answers from our support team. I get that.
What I dont forgive is how many times the support team will complain to me that a scenario or a feature isnt in the documentation, despite me bolding, bullet listing, and highlighting THE EXACT THING THEY ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT. I usually relink it to them and screenshot the relevant section.
People. Do. Not. Read.
