I’m talking about the anime where the girls don’t provide anything else, it’s usually more an issue for shounen anime than anything, but slice of life often has this trouble too.

I’m also not saying all anime. But there’s a disturbing amount of anime that doesn’t have female characters, just boobs and asses that want to marry the Mc or call him a pervert.

I wouldn’t remove the female characters from like Inuyasha or Rurouni Kenshin, but i would from Mashle magic and muscle because… the one female character does nothing in the whole show lol.

This is why I wish linear/act structures games would make a comeback

They care more about putting a dumb whatever the heck on some random ass mountain with nothing else on it and boring exploration so you can claim your game is “an open world xxx% bigger than Skyrim/red dead redemption/etc”

Red dead is one of the only games I think does open world well because the story was still linear and had acts. You could have just released the prologue and the valentine area as early access and people would have tested everything out and have fun with it. Similar with bg3 and act 1.

The other one is genshin impact actually, but that game is live service and released the world in parts. So each part of the world feels like it has meaningful exploration since there’s more than just a korok on this random ass mountain. There will be at least 5 puzzles, the zones have their own stories, quests, and plot lines, and doing that let’s you explore a good majority of the zone. If you were to speed rush the msq on a lot of these open world games you would only really explore 10% of the world.

The older I get the more I hate these open world games. They feel directionless. In terms of world building the newest (open world) pokemon game was easily the worst. The gym leaders and rival gangs had no agency wnd very little personality and impact because you could “defeat them in any order*” (*not really)

When I saw the Witcher 1 remake was not going to be linear anymore I pretty much lost all interest in it.

It feels so hard to stay away from anime like that these days. I honestly feel like the majority of modern anime would be better if it didn’t have any female characters in it at all.

I think what they (poorly) meant was that there shouldn’t be individuals/entities that own multiple houses, to give everyone/more people the chance to own homes. There is a serious housing shortage because a lot of people and companies buy multiple homes. Some use it as basically a form of money (notably the Chinese) and others use it as a form of income (Individuals/entities that own 10 or more affordable/family homes and rent it out. Airbnb was/is a huge contributer to this issue)

As a rule, people today cannot buy homes and rent is a major reason why. In most places rent is over 60% of the average paycheck. How are you supposed to afford a house? You won’t even get accepted for a mortgage with the average paycheck. This issue has a lot of consequences, suchas the birthrate is falling at an exponential rate. It’s barely at the replacement level, and in some places, below. And the trend is continuing.

But there is no a problem. There’s nothing wrong with him. Makeup “fixes” vitiligo but there’s nothing wrong with it. You should be proud of what you look like.

It doesn’t affect his quality of life or his health, it doesn’t make him deaf or anything that would be fixed by both ears being the same. All it does it make him look like a mutt and disqualifies him from any dogs shows. Which are just superfluous standards that promote actual, debilitating deformities. Look at showdog German shepherds as an example. Poor things can’t even walk because of “aesthetics”. Bulldog and flat faced dog breeds are another famous example. They can’t breathe. They can’t swim. They can’t even reproduce normally.

Your dog isn’t broken. There are no problems. And I’m afraid of any children you may have if you seriously hold views like this.

Because its adorable and there nothing wrong with him. You don’t “fix” this like you don’t “fix” heterochromia or vitiligo.

I went to earth to check it out, I know the lore of why it is a giant sand ball but that also disappoints me. I walked around the approximate area of where I am from and found a small cave. But there was nothing in the cave except some abandoned drugs. I couldn’t interact with the glowing mushrooms, mine any minerals, etc. I was hoping for a sprawling cavern or something and just… nope. I might go back to earth to explore it some more but it’s so bland.

Climate deniers think all the forest fires are some government conspiracy because a bunch of fires starting all at the same time is super sus. Even though it happens all the time after a big heatwave / drought and pine forests are made to burn. Sometimes these trees will just… not spontaneously combust exactly, but pretty much do. Pine forests are built to burn every 2 years or so, it’s one of the ways they reproduce - pines are genetically predisposed to catching fire easily and their sap is very very flammable. These forests burn hot and quickly but a fast fire isn’t a very destructive fire. These trees often are not burnt to the ground. However, we are so effective at putting fires out so this 2 year burn off isn’t happening. So, years of underbrush, etc is building up that otherwise wouldn’t be. This makes what is supposed to be a fast burn fire, into a slow burn one. What would be a natural fireline because there is a large gap between some trees, isn’t one because all the underbrush connects them.

So it’s not just because of climate change, but we are responsible either way. There aren’t any easy answers for this one because there are houses scattered all over the places. But there is no helping these Trump worshipping conspiracy theorists and we need to consider them a lost cause. Nothing will shake their faith in their Orange God so we must bolster against them and move on without them.

Slime/goop

I’m talking about pre-made whatever. Salad dressings, sauces, etc. They all have corn or soy in them, sometimes both. It’s hard to avoid it entirely. People with a soy allergy probably have to get specialty brands and/or go to specialty shops since food in North America is so corporate. Many of the food safety laws are a joke. And Canada is stricter than USA. In USA food safety is the whole clown show when compared with the EU.

I have had my own insulated steel water bottle for a few years now. I have bought a couple water bottles since, but it only happens when I forget it and it’s a hot day. I still try to avoid Nestlé when that happens.

Nestlé chocolates are bad too, though. They use palm oil in all of it. However, most chocolate companies do. And it isn’t limited to chocolates. Oreos, which are vegan, use palm oil as well, which is why some vegans and vegetarians boycott oreos. Unfortunately there aren’t many alternatives to go to for this issue. The only viable solution for this one is to “stop eating chocolates/etc” rather than finding alternate brands and companies. Unfortunately this one is rather difficult because palm oil is one of those ingredients that has like 50 different names because companies KNOW that palm oil is one of those issues people feel strongly about and try to avoid. So every company will call it something else, or something very, very vague. Avoiding palm oil is like trying to avoid corn or soy.

I avoid Nestlé as much as I can, I mostly… I just buy a coffee crisp once or twice a year. It’s one of my favorites and I have not found an alternative I like as much/better.

Nestle isn’t exactly making bank off me, that’s enough.
