Now let’s play polar bear, “oh i’m so sad i have to swim farther because of global warming”. Checkmate bears!

Lol is this like satire? Who measures things by “the GDP of Maryland” xD
Empire was so well played, going from amicable to terrifying. Lee Pace makes that show!
Always reminds me of one of my favorite books (part of a series) The Collapsium by Will McCarthy. A big part of the book is their version of teleporting which does involve destruction and recreation, but while you’re at it you could make more than one copy at the destination…
Starfield is pretty good, but space is just the background. It’s not really much of a space game TBH. (I’m enjoying it though!)
Yeah started finding some neat stuff as I go further out. It’s not that it’s not there, it’s just that you don’t tend to stumble upon it. Like I’ll go to a planet do a mission open up and scan and see some POI like 1200m away. Now do I really want to tedious run over empty nothingness to see if it’s like a space hut or another pirate base etc? I definitely check out nearby POI especially if they are on the way to where i need to go. (Still having fun in the game though and I guess later having options to at least poke around in new places will be fun and i’m curious if the critters are fixed or procedural, like will there be variants all over or just the same few species)
Does it eventually give you a purpose or guide you to making an outpost, I haven’t felt much of a need yet.
I’ve been enjoying Starfield - but the empty planets suck, especially without vehicles. The scanning thing is boring and dumb, worse than trying to get 100% on a NMS world. It’s a shame that fast travel disconnects you from the space feel of the game, but it makes the rest of the game playable. I like the game overall, but they have definitely dropped the ball on space travel. In theory it’d be cool to come across different “dungeons” etc, as in Skyrim when wandering around, but doesn’t happen in Starfield because you’re generally not going to happen upon them. It’s not interesting to drop down to random planets.
Did Flair and it was fine - after Swoop wanted to “rebook” a flight within a week of when it was supposed to leave to like the week after I was supposed to return.
My pillow is so thin my wife is like “well just put a towel in the pillowcase”
Ah i see ignore my other comment - didn’t realize synology did remote backup as well as storage.

Thank you for your service.
NGL i’m kind of bored of retreading the same period of the Star Wars universe - I’d really like to see something new.
I enjoyed the show (especially with Henry), minute to minute, bunch of cool and well done scenes, but overall it just didn’t hold together. I’m fine with not over explaining, but generally speaking I didn’t know what was going on or why I should care. (I only read one of the books and didn’t really play the games)
“It’s not normal to get your testicles bitten off, of course, but it can happen, especially now in Sweden,” … In reality, the red-bellied pacu and related species actually rely on nuts"
Totally trying that…Also as a dad the seat cooling fans in the car are another mighty tool in my arse-nal.
Yeah paid YT is probably the last media subscription to go, especially with YT Music. Hours and hours of watch time probably number one thing watched by the whole family. The only problem I usually have with YT is getting “boxed in” to content, like it thinks I only like watching channel X now because I watched a video. Sometimes the entire feed is like 2 or 3 channels and it’s harder to discover something new.
(One interesting thing, if you create your own YT channels each channel has a fresh watch history and sometimes you can then build up a different set of videos on the other channels)
They almost got me with preorder last night, but I was like nah I’ll just wait and see in the morning. I love how i’ve been reading for weeks that “it’s good they made fast travel hard”, like preparing us for a fast travel MTX. Or it’s the greatest character creator of all time, but to edit after you have to spend more money - the game is basically $100 canadian. Absurd.
