Yep you can even set up your Android phone as its own server. Been working like a charm for me.

The worst is the “good night” posts, I find it so cringey.
Posts like: “Can’t keep these sleepy eyes open, sweet dreams everyone”. It seems like mastodon is for people that love small talk.
That’s what I was thinking, I’ve seen pictures on here of chicken bones left on shelves 🤢
I’d rather the bananas…
I think it will get better when search engines start indexing everything. Right now it’s pretty hard to find any answers for lemmy outside of lemmy, so I could see how it can be confusing for new users trying to figure it out.
Oh weird, no I’m using the external browser but every link except for the https link opens gmail for me. I’m sure it will get fixed, I just checked and i’m on version 0.10.3
I do have a pixelfed account at pxlmo.com but I was having a hard time gaining any traction there. Seems like they want cat pictures. I also never used instagram or twitter so it could very likely be my fault for not using hashtags or something.
Your second link works for me in liftoff! The first one still opens an email client
Thank you! Looking forward to your posts
If anyone could help with the links I don’t really understand how to format them
Ah that would make sense, thank you
Wouldn’t this most likely be for fingerprinting?
Yup, Pop!_OS is virtually flawless for me on my Nvidia laptop. It can run every game that I play for hours with no crashing including Tears of the Kingdom on the yuzu emulator.
Edit: sorry, don’t think that’s really what you were asking for. On liftoff if I open in browser it does open this post on your instance though, this is the URL I get: https://lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz/post/1039227
You can format the link like this, it should open on your instance. Not sure if it will open in your app though.
