Article says the erroneous menus weren’t distributed. So, probably not.

Removing the allergen warning is basically some form of attempted manslaughter.
I would generally say they’re great with anything you happy being 100% right 90% of the time.
Maybe more like the new Oak Island Money Pit.
I’m bending rule 4, because the official 1.0 release is announced for less than 1 month from now.
ZERO Sievert is a tense top-down extraction shooter that challenges you to scavenge a procedurally-generated wasteland, loot gear, and explore what’s left of a devastated world. When the odds are stacked against you, you’ll need to do more than just survive.
I’ve played through it a 2nd time recently, it’s a fun solo experience, the difficulty is largely customizable, the different zones feel unique, lots to explore, even just a little morality testing on some quests. Decent enemy variety, the guns generally feel different, and different ammo types do matter. Skill will take you far, and carelessness, even in the easy areas, will be punished.
I write these words in steel, for anything not set in metal cannot be trusted.
My wife has a NordicTrack bike, it auto adjusts resistance and incline. Insane people would pay more and not even get that.
Those style of maps make the gameplay into a frenzy, turns the twitch shooting skill requirement up, drops the tactical planning.
I went back and forth on it. The campaign is just the meta progression, the missions are the randomized element. Comparing to Darkest Dungeon for example, it’s really similar in structure.
Ok, sticking to roguelites, here’s some other options:
Deckbuilding Style: Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Griftlands, Balatro
Survivor/Bullet-Heaven Style: Vampire Survivors, Brotato, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor
Realtime Combat (I’d put Hades/Dead Cells here): Hand of Fate 1/2, Zero Sievert, Wall World, Rogue Legacy 1/2, Risk of Rain 1/2, Heroes of Hammerwatch
FPS: Gunfire Reborn, Roboquest
Turn-based/Pausable: FTL, The Last Spell, Loop Hero, Dungeons of Dredmor, Darkest Dungeon 1/2, Backpack Hero, Into the Breach, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2
Sure I missed some other good stuff.
Not a roguelite/roguelike but if you liked the combat style of Hades, check out Bastion.
It’s listed under each title in the article.
For something I’m paying for, I want no ads, recommended or otherwise.
For something I get for free, if it’s easily skippable/ignorable, I don’t really care, I’ll skip it or mute the tab or whatever. If I can’t, I’d rather have a like sniper level targeted ad (use all the data!), really try to show me something I’ll care about (there was some like 10 minutes ad about the science behing glass by one of the guys from MythBusters, I watched the whole ad, it was great). The demographic level targeted ads are my 2nd least favorite, mostly because it feels like I usually need to suffer through what is a targeted ad but if they bothered to exclude some of the audience based on some data points (looking at you luxury car ads, it’s just never going to happen), they’d know I’m a bad target, I’d rather some generic add over those. My least favorite ad though, when I get an ad in a language I don’t even understand, like at least match my primary language, wasting everyone’s time…
There are women who intentionally choose to be a single parent. Like they’re single, they get a sperm donor, have a kid. It’s not some insane thing. Kids should have a supportive and caring environment, whomever raises them. Not every kid with a single caregiver is neglected, nor is every kid with 2 or more caregivers properly cared for.
Article feels weirdly biased, an Xbox mid-gen update has been talked about for over a year and is expected in the next like 4-6 months. Anyone in the market for a current gen Xbox is likely to consider that and may decide to postpone their purchase until then, making sales artificially lower than demand for an Xbox. The article doesn’t even mention it, instead talking about even more speculative hardware that isn’t likely more than some R&D project, if that.
You can see similar effects for PS4 sales when the PS5 was announced, sales cratered. Can’t tell too much with the PS4 to PS4 pro because they announced close to actual release.
Feels like the author is clickbaiting the console war.
Yep, UI mouseover is fine with it unplugged, issue returns when replugged.
PC, other than M/KB, I have a Razer Tartarus.
I was using the scroll wheel, might have missed the cue to use keys, that’d fix it for me.
Played a couple runs. Definitely seems up my alley.
Feedback:
Idk why, but when cursoring UI menus, it just ticks from where I cursored to the top like I’m holding an up arrow. Happens in Menus, Stats, Level ups and Shop. Clicking works fine, just really couldn’t read any stat descriptions.
When teasing the locked towers/skills, when you obscure the text with the X of locks, it’s hard for me to read and get excited about getting access to that thing. Maybe move the lock indicator somewhere there isn’t text (top right?).
This is maybe more fundamental, and idk how it fits with your vision, but scroll wheeling between skills feels clunky, could it maybe be key based (either as well or in addition), think that’d feel snappier to me.
Any new purchasers (I am one) are also probably waiting for the mid-generation update coming later this year.
This isn’t early access, it’s advanced access, like if a game has a deluxe edition that lets people play a few days before the official release.
Statistically anomalous data exists, it should be scrutinized, just partially. Sample and do a hand recount for 1 district that shows the greatest evidence of bullet ballots, if that turns out close to expectations, that’s the end of it. If it isn’t… that’s a massive can of worms.
1 anomaly can be seen as a random outlier, and if it wouldn’t impact the overall result, can be ignored. Multiple anomalies, in only the places that matter is worth a little time to confirm.
