Worse, they fall to 83rd for life expectancy at age 65. That’s what really counts for most of us.

Weeeleeeee-bebldebeep Shhhhhhhhh WawaaaaaaaaaWawaaaaaaaaa
I’m sure many have seen it, but Kersgezat recently put out video that opened my eyes to the less-obvious benefits of exercise.
I’m not sure about the French translation, but another word for ground is Earth. As a guess, an environmentalist group is probably adapting it from that terminology.
It just occurred to me how similar AI images are to dreams, always related to the prompt, but never quite how a conscious brain would imagine it. All the weird, illegible text, the grotesque bodies, etc. really do match up fairly well with unconsciousness.
Backup for a stuck rudder.
There’s one on each side of the plane, of course, but it’s for redundancy only, as the Auxiliary Steering System can be used in forward or reverse, allowing one unit to rotate the plane to both port and starboard.
Hmm.
Never really looked into it before.
Now I downloaded it.
Google’s strategy seems to have backfired, in my case.
It entirely depends on the context.
The simple answer is that my favorite country is where my employment and loved ones are, the USA.
For travel, Probably Spain. I’ve always felt that the mix of relaxation and adventure is perfect there. I’ve always loved southern Chile, but it’s a bit too rural to feel entirely comfortable. There’s always this awareness of how much trouble I’d be in if I screwed anything up.
I absorbed this from Cooks Illustrated, years ago: unless you’re deep frying your chicken, the best option is to start in shallow oil to brown the coating, then finish in the oven to cook the meat.
It’s very difficult to shallow-fry chicken.
Especially those at work who can’t install their own software.
It’s farcical.
When a company introduces something consumers want, we will research and find a way to get it and use it ASAP. Nobody needs to interrupt our workflow to tell us about it. I don’t remember getting any in-app notifications for the Gmail select all “feature,” but I figured it out pretty damn quickly.
Oh shit thank you so much.
My towel was still in the dryer. That would have been an annoying way to start the week.
Get to bed on time so I can face the Monday blues on 8 hours sleep.
No idea what our first computer was, but it was BIG. The first thing I did was play games. This would’ve been somewhere around 87-89.
Seriously. I’d consider over sixty an anomaly right now, but it won’t be in the future.
If you grew up with games, they’re too imbedded in your entertainment routine to give up.
Go to the dentist. Get a little exercise. Find a way to reduce calories over the next 20 years, spend as little as possible. Borrow a little money for your car. Stay away from credit cards until you make enough to pay the cards in full every month. Keep track of every skill you learn on the job, using that information to transition into higher-paying jobs. Get a savings account. Spend as little as possible without skimping on food quality. Save 1 months salary and keep that in checking. At the end of each month, transfer everything above the target funds into savings. Save 3 months salary for an emergency fund. Once this financial foundation is established, divide additional funds into two buckets: one gets invested each month, the other is for major purchases and travel.
I didn’t even see 2040 at first. I was shocked. I thought Mex was really on the 2025 list.
I’m going to think about that and get back to you. I think it’s mostly intuitive, based on many years of experience, but I’m not sure at this point.
I also have to mention that I was half joking. I don’t use YT all that much for my profession. I would, but it’s just not entirely relevant.
The same way as topics in my field of expertise, of course.
YouTube.
I just save it up.
It’s like yelling. Nobody pays attention if you do it all the time.
