Nice free skin!
Yeah true, AI art is more “looks OK at first glance, but smaller details are messed up”, while this one is the opposite of that so “smaller details are actually fine, but as a whole it looks quite messed up” haha
I actually liked 3D movies and I even bought the Nvidia 3D kit to play my PC games in 3D, it was amazing (to me)!
But it was an imperfect 3D technology that gave many people headaches, so I can understand why it eventually got scrapped.
I do have a VR headset too, but besides Half-Life Alyx, there haven’t really been any VR games I am so hyped for that I keep going back to play in VR.
Looking at this cover art again now, it kinda reminds me of AI-generated art lol

Me: He’s gonna become an exchange student isn’t he
Next scene: “HA HA HA HA HA”
Yup, I still visit Reddit daily because of the small subreddits for games I’m playing, which are barely active on Lemmy.
I mostly stay away from everything else on Reddit, but then again I already usually did that even before the recent API changes and removal of third party apps.
You could say I can try to contribute more to those communities here on Lemmy, but even on Reddit I never posted much and would just comment on random stuff once in a while. So it’s hard to go from that to actively posting and commenting here on Lemmy…

That intimidation stare was super effective lol
Thanks for the tip, I’ll have a look!
This is one of the reasons why I don’t really want to buy the new Diablo game even though my friends are playing it and it sounds like it’s gotten good reviews. checks metacritic, critics score 86, user score currently at 2.0 Yeah figures lol
Yeah, just an addon to automatically redirect all Reddit links to the old.reddit.com version would already make Firefox addon support on Android super useful for me!
Since Reddit threads are still sometimes the only results when searching for questions to uncommon issues.
I can’t even really use it on the phone because it would trim off part of the title on the sides, or I would have to add/leave “black bars” on the top and bottom of the screen.
Oh well, still a cool drawing!
Hey the bots are doing their best to repost posts and comments just like any other active redditor!

Out of the Lemmy apps I tried out, Voyager is the app I used the most, and it is definitely a great app! But I did miss the smoothness and customisability of Sync, so I will most likely use that on my phone from now on.
As much as I like Voyager, I do feel like there is some slowdowns/stuttering and feeling of the GUI not always doing what I intended to do. Not a lot, but enough to sit in the back of my mind.
That being said I’m still using Voyager on the iPad and also in the browser on my PC! (Which reminds me that I should try installing the Voyager app from the iPad app store, maybe that’ll actually fix the occassional slowdowns.)
Yeah they are empty on my phone too, and I’ve never used any DNS-adblocking on my home network. I suspect it might be because whatever ad system Sync uses currently just doesn’t have any ads for my country, but I don’t actually know.
Took me a few tries to find it because I searched for your spelling lol: https://kvaesitso.mm20.de/
