What is this? It’s from a video game?
What is this? It’s from a video game?
I’m like 95% sure it’s probably something I’m doing wrong lol
I remember my password but it won’t let me log in anywhere else besides this app on this one device for some reason
The theme from DuckTales. Also the song “The Moon” from the DuckTales video game on NES is especially good
Sounds like a good deal to me!
I was banned from the Anti-Work subreddit for questioning why someone in a picket line was dressed like the wish .com version of Che Guevara. He looked ridiculous, nobody else was dressed up, and they were picketing a fucking Starbucks.
I thought it was just a funny observation but the mods banned me after it got upvoted to top comment on the post lol
You mean their precious official app didn’t get better once they destroyed third party apps??? What a surprise!
I just put a big rubber band around my ID, my debit card, my laundry card and a little cash!
I’ve just quit using Reddit completely at this point. The only time I go on there at all anymore is if a specific post is the best result when I’m searching for something
Not true! I stopped carrying a wallet almost 2 years ago!
There are filter apps you can put on your phone to help identify them since they’re usually calling voip. I know the FCC is trying to ban spoofing and you can report spoofing on their website
When the scammers spoof numbers they usually just get a block of random numbers that are local to where they are calling, then they just try them one at a time. They pick numbers that look local because people are more likely to answer.
They never actually bother verifying whose number they’re using though, so it frequently results in them calling from the persons own number who they are trying to scam, local businesses, and even local government numbers.
I work for the phone company and I’ve frequently gotten calls from people telling me someone just called them from their own number lol
If I don’t know who it is then I’m not answering shit. I don’t even bother looking up the numbers anymore because they all come from spoofed caller IDs now, and if you answer you’ll get 1000 more scam calls immediately because now they know you’re dumb enough to pick up
I’m working on some new pieces now so hopefully I’ll have something else to post soon!
Yes as long as you have a Gmail account and a payment method you can put on file you can use Google Play without a sim card just over wifi. All a sim card does is connect you to a cellular network, it shouldn’t really affect your ability to set up any Google services
I just recently took up cross stitching. You can learn all the basics for free on YouTube and there are tons of cross stitching communities online and there are tons of free patterns online too. All the supplies you need at first are some thread, some Aida cloth and needles. When I started I got a stitching hoop too I think my total investment was about $20.
I appreciate the tip, but I’ve already stopped using reddit entirely at this point. I’ll still try Boost for Lemmy when it comes out though!
I think once he applied a bunch of rules and bullshit data harvesting it would basically be the same thing as Facebook and people wouldn’t see the point of having a separate Reddit account. Probably no one would use it
Also after all the shitty things Steve Huffman has done to Reddit it basically has no value anymore. He’s devalued the brand so much that even the name Reddit is now synonymous with corporate greed
Also most people on Facebook who don’t already have a Reddit account think Reddit is just the scary and complicated version of Facebook anyway, so there’s really no reason why they would want to use it
Boost finally stopped working last week. The dev says he’s making a version of Boost for Lemmy though!
I’ve been dealing with depression a lot since I quit drinking. I’ve found that exercise does help, but for me it has to be exercise that I actually enjoy. I’ve been going for walks. I like exploring different parts of my neighborhood and now that I’ve been doing it a while I can cover 4 or 5 miles in a day! Being in better shape gives me more energy and I actually feel like getting up and doing something instead of just vegging out in front of the TV for hours
I’ve also found that just cleaning my space has been really helpful. I let my house turn into a disgusting mess when my depression was at it’s worst, and the act of tidying it all up helped improve my mood a lot. Having actual space to work and everything where its supposed to be has made me much more productive artistically too. Seeing a mess every day was just making me more depressed.
Finding a new hobby that you have to learn about and get better at can really help with getting the creative process going too.
I hope this is helpful. I know the same things don’t always work for everyone, but I’m in a much better place than I was 2 years ago now
