How many of yall remember having to “adjust tracking” when the picture had too much “snow”?
I heard he was too busy watching television news coverage to be bothered with all that.
Oh wow thanks for the extensive list! I’ve seen about half of the ones in your list and will check out the link. I also recently watched The Witch by Eggers. That was a creepy good one.
Good idea! Cross posted!
Ohhhh good one. I remember always liking this one back when it came out and I did a rewatch a few years ago. Still held up!
So sorry for your loss 😞
Seeing the clown toy come alive and trying to attack that kid absolutely traumatized me.
I’m gonna have to give this another view. It was traumatizing to see as a child and I haven’t revisited it since.
Oh ok. No but I do follow you as I am sure there are plenty of calls being intercepted by our govt agencies. I guess I am trying to wrap my head around who would use AI voice technology for that purpose? Enemies within the country of the foreign leaders that hack into their specific phone lines?
What is considered a “known compromised line”?
Oh well today I learned.
Why not block it and never worry about it again?
Well that changes weekly, but if I had to pick just one to be stranded on a desert island with it would be the original Robocop(1987) - just so much nostalgia personally but a really great satire ahead of it’s time.
Although next week, I might could say the hilarious meta mindfuck Adaptation. Peak Nic Cage, Spike Jonez and Charlie Kaufman - a really fun and wild ride and I love how self indulgent it is.
Oh gosh I was just thinking the same thing but had to research to remember the name of the movie since it’s been quite a long time since I watched. The Lives Of Others needs to be at the top of the list. I also need to revisit it.
There was a great take on one of these called “Everybody Hates Raymond”
It was the show Everybody Loves Ramon but the laugh track was completely replaced with boos and was frickin hilarious. I think it got removed from YouTube though cuz I haven’t been able to find it for years.
Lmao OK you got me pretty good with this one
Yeah I was expecting this to be a thought piece in general about companies requiring them be back in office.
I’m gonna say this out loud next time I’m taking a shower.
Well they did just buy infowars…
