I’m one of the unnamed crew of starbase 80, for sure.

They’re Star Treks room of requirement (fuck JK btw), they are whatever size you need them to be
The inconsistent size of Jeffrie’s tubes is one of the things I love about the franchise. Sometimes crawl through them, sometimes run. Who fucking knows!
It’s the 24th century. No-one cured baldness because they’re past caring about such nonsense
That still can’t inform you properly on how a game ‘feels’ to play. I’m very tempted by Alan Wake 2, but having bounced off many other similar games because of how they control has me pining for a demo. I’ll not be dropping 50 quid without being able to try it first
Same. Great episode. I love the interplay between these two
Oh nice. Didn’t realise these were out now as I don’t have Netflix. Definitely wanna check them out. Need to rewatch Ateroid City actually, I watched it with someone clearly not interested who kept talking!
I watched Citizen Kane for the first time. It’s one I’d never got round to despite it being so lauded. I’ll be honest, it being black and white and from 1941, I had prejudged it as I’ve not been a fan of other films of that era.
Thankfully, It’s pretty bloody good! In many ways it feels a more modern film than many that came after it. Yes, some of the acting is a bit hokey, but Orson Welles is great, and the directing, cinematography, and music are all stellar. There’s so many bold and interesting choices and often a tangible sense of heightened reality about it. It’s an odd film in that it outlines the entire plot in the first 10 minutes, but still hooks you with the central question. What is Rosebud? But, more importantly, who is Charles Foster Kane?
I’m sorry but it’s an awful, ugly, science runabout… that’s its. I may be biased because I hate the design…

The ‘smart, sexy, emotionally intelligent expert’ to ‘maniacal space pirate’ heel turn was glorious!
She starts off pretty acerbic with a clear bias toward Data, but they were definitely going for a character arc with her and she started having some character growth as the season went on. She later encourages and supports Data when he’s having a mini crisis about losing at stratagema, and she takes an innoculant so she can drink the poisonous tea Worf offers her. Then they brought back Bev and we never got to see it really pay off. Then for ages Crusher is barely anything more than set dressing and a ‘will they won’t they’ relationship for Picard. I always thought Pulaski was a more interesting character than Crusher and the show would have been better for keeping her.
Code of Honor would like a word
Polyporus squamosus. Looks like it from the top. I’d wanna see the underside to see the pores not gills, just to be sure.
I was hooked by episode 4 when Bunk and McNulty are at the crime scene
Going in to season 2 can feel a bit jarring if you were expecting it to continue to be about the drug trade, but the show is about Baltimore and each season shows different aspects of the city. The police/drug trade, the docks, government bureaucracy, school system, and the media. For me it’s what makes the wire stand out.
I think they mean the American office. Which gets significantly better after the first season, when they stop trying to just copy the original and do their own thing.
Dunno, Dr. Evil actually seemed to like Mini-Me
