Good for you
Good for you
I used it for the first time this morning. The motion sensor was surprisingly good at getting me out of bed. It even detected if I tried to get back in.
Federated LinkedIn would still be better than LinkedIn.
Too bad it’s made by Ubisoft.
Why are they insisting on this PSN madness? They make themselves look like complete idiots.
Immich might work.
Yes, and we have systems in place that makes I more likely that selfish and cruel people, get to have power. We award power hungry people with power.
People will always corrupt a system for personal gain
Now you are just making stuff up. People are selfless all the time. But in a capitalist society you are punished for being selfless and awarded for being selfish. It’s a highly anti social ideology.
Don’t worry, the guillotines won’t be necessary. Sam Altman will create a universal income to keep the poor from any violent urges. Of cause that income is paid in some crypto coin and requires you to scan your eyes in some orb and happens to make Sam Altman rich, because he founded this coin.
Who knows, maybe you can by micro transactions with worldcoins in the future.

I will never understand why Pokémon fans keep buying thee very mid games.
How does that help shareholders? Democracy is when shareholders get richer! Something something pension funds and trickle down economics.
You can’t just hire a bunch of developers and expect them to fix things right away.
Ghost is getting activitypub support.
We need a second Gollum game.
I still dont understand why we need bluesky.
I think for grandma Linux is actually easy. You can easily make it look like Windows or Mac or something recognisable with big friendly icons. And lock it down, so she can’t mess anything up. The only difficulty part is if you need something very specific that only works on Windows. But for gaming, browsing and Office, most things works absolutely fine on Linux. Valve has made it incredibly easy to install Steam games on Linux, even if they officially only work on Windows.
Most Linux apps can be installed from an App Store, that works like it does on phones. It’s a bit different, but it’s not harder. The exception is some multiplayer games that require some aggressive anti cheat, that won’t work. It’s also easier if you have an AMD GPU as it will just work on Linux, nvidia is making it a bit difficult, but that’s nvidia fault for not playing nice.
Installing something like Pop Linux doesn’t take more than 20 minutes.
I wish more people would create worker owned cooperatives. They might be more resilient and might even be more productive. Of cause the downside is that they don’t make one person very rich.
I don’t think it’s required for single player games.
When was the last time EA had an idea that made things better for the customers… you know like how companies are supposed to work. Customers pay and in exchange they get something that makes their lives a little better. But it’s always just about extracting value and giving as little as possible back.
“Here take the same reskinned soccer game, now a little bit more expensive, with ads and new bugs, and some micro transactions, because you should pay us more, because fuck you”
OP is not exactly coming up with good examples, but I think the point is you can analyse anything and claim that there is some hidden political message, even if it was not intended by the developers. Even Gilgamesh, one of the oldest text ever found, has scholars discussing gender and sexuality. I don’t think Gilgamesh and Enkidus relationship was considered political at the time the story was written down, but in a new context and a new political landscape it can suddenly be political.
