I couldn’t even get an activation mail from fedia.io. Not sure what’s up with them.

I literally said nothing about it not being slick and professional or whatever. But yes, he basically made a cheap zombie game, named it after a very well known zombie game, released it at 75% off, then put it 90% off a couple days later (BUY NOW!) and then immediately went 100% off the next day. This is just fishy and I would not put this junk on a Windows PC because who the hell knows if it is even clean if you’re using methods like this?

Desperate much? Also really scummy name choice considering Project Zomboid.
I made a post about my Gnome experiences already, which were just terrible due to how unstable the apps were and how it lacked a ton of even very basic features that I needed. So if their Wayland support is better, it’s completely overshadowed by how shitty everything else is.
Most of the issues were a year or two ago, but I every now and then switched to Wayland to see if things got better and returned to X within like hours due to issues just around the “desktop”.
I’m on AMD and had so many issues with Wayland. A lot of games were straight up unplayable due to the amount of issues and some other applications straight up not compatible while scaling is also still a freaking mess. Saying Wayland has been working perfectly for years just feels like clownery and is kinda insulting to everyone who experiences those problems.
GRUB was a nightmare for me when things went wrong (EndeavourOS / Arch). I think you can say that to a lot of critical Linux system components though. Mint is generally one of the more stable distros out there though and generally considered to be the better Ubuntu.
Debian is just old unless you go into the unstable branches, and I don’t use that as an insult because Debian is obviously supposed to be stable. I have literally never heard of Alma or Rocky, and Ubuntu is just shit and has Snap as well as a very unfamiliar desktop layout. Cinnamon or KDE will be much better entries for people coming from Windows.
Arch is of course just a stupid suggestion for Linux newbies and I honestly can’t take people like you serious for doing so unironically.
Sometimes I see the rare post when I sort by Newest but it almost feels like kbin is giving 18+ submissions a low priority or something. Meanwhile when I check through my Beehaw account I see a lot of it, relatively speaking. Definitely far more than on kbin.
Damn furry Nazis.
He’s clearly a tankie. I wonder if lemmy.zip is just as bad as lemmygrad or lemmy.ml.
I know why I went to kbin though. I just have no desire to directly support those developers.
Are domain name approvals nowadays fully automated or are there still people looking over them?
Is that bait? I don’t even want to test it. lol
I can have some sexual intend on photos of naked children bathing too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That’s not really how those laws work though.
Neither is a teen freely sending a nude selfie of themselves to their teen SO.
Many family photo albums feature naked kids in various stupid situations that were just thought to be cute and funny at the time, which would nowadays melt peoples brains if they’d hear about it, and certainly would fall under the same laws that would punish the teen in the other example.
I wonder how they’d handle some families photo albums.
I swear I’ve read a similar headline a while ago of some teen being charged for that, because they sent nude selfies of themselves.
Real life cell shading really messes with me. It’s like an optical illusion that makes my brain mushy.
I prefer kbin over the tankie shit.
Kbin does not fetch & show the moderators of other instances yet and just shows ernest (Kbin admin) as owner & moderator. I personally wouldn’t do it anyway but maybe something to keep in mind when interacting with other Kbin users.
