Well, I’m not sure this is what you’re looking for but Tabletop Simulator is a board game simulator that has a diverse category of games in its workshop mod. I’m sure a lot of the games can be played with 5 players.

The poster doesn’t need to care about it. Just the ones looking at the posts to see which ones are a waste of time. Hell, the algorithm might already be doing that anyways so even they don’t need to care about it.

Maybe you could include some recommendations on carrying over content/followers. Especially if there’re bots to do it.

I’ve played several games of Cosmic Encounter. Definitely my top 1 boardgame. It’s chaotic nature makes sure it never gets old.

I definitely agree. Another good thing about being in a federated platform is that even if you want to jump ship later down the line or if another instance becomes more popular, you still get to see contents from both instances.

As a kid, I liked boardgames but I haven’t really been introduced to anything that you couldn’t find on a toy store so I didn’t know about “real” boardgames before I found a YouTube series called “Tabletop”. They basically recorded playthroughs of different types of boardgames with amazing production. That series really opened me up to the world of boardgaming and gave me a good enough sample of different boardgames that I could have an idea of what kind of games I liked.
