You don’t start something important with a “hey guess what”, soooooo no reason to be upset.
That’s a really nice theme!
Notions databases are really powerful, they are great _
ooh, yes I see your point. I think both can be true, and a third; we think we (aka scientists) know how something is, but later finds out it works in a different way. The fact never changed, we just learned what it actually is.
example: red pandas used to be categorised with the gigant pandas (that are closer to regular bears) but after we’ve learned more about the red pandas they are actually closer to raccoons.
I don’t know what I’m trying to say. I hope I understood you correctly, English isn’t my first language.
For me it’s that it has it’s focus on the text and it’s simple markdown, it’s free and the files are stored on my computer (and github in my case).
I came from Notion where I put way to much time into what it looks like instead of focusing on the text.
I used notion before, as context and I like how it’s just regular markdown, nothing fancy. It puts the focus on the text and not what it looks like.
I also like that it’s free and that I have the files on my computer, (and on github in my case)
I’m currently obsessed with obsidian.md
But that are two different things, are they not?
Woah! Next level water drinking! * mindblown *
I try to drink some water in-between every cup of coffee ☕
I have ~5100 karma, I’ve never really cared about the total karma amount but it is fun to see a comment or post be upvoted. They feel like social points and that makes me think of “that” episode of Black Mirror, and as @mrmanager@lemmy.today said, China has implemented that. It’s crazy.
But as I always say, in the end, the people have the power. Always.
omg that is sooo cozy
Välkommen! 😊
