Where’s the “four slices per freezer bag and keep in the freezer” option? Or am I just too good for this chart?

20C and sunny today, possibly the best beach day of the summer around here. And the local Starbucks had a sign up, saying that yhey ran out of pumpkin spice…
Two years ago, I quit FB for six months. Then I checked my feed, and counted six friends’ updates and zero group posts in the first 100 items. 94% of posts were ads or “suggested” content. So, I closed FB and never went back again. Whatsap statuses is where I find my friends’ updates these days.
World of Xeen? Such a fun concept, combining the two games. I’ve been trying to run the mod that lets you play 6, 7 and 8 within the same game, but my current PC can’t handle it.
And before that, Swords of Xeen, as MM 5.5. But other unofficial spinoffs, in particular the King’s Bounty series, weren’t half bad, either.
I call this “The curse of Might and Magic”. This franchise was established by Jon Van Caneghem who founded New World Computing. The company later got into financial trouble and was absorbed by 3DO. Over time (mainly due to the commercial failure of its console, which came after the acquisition of the M&M property), 3DO started slipping into the hole. It dissolved, and in its fire sale, Ubi purchased the rights to Might and Magic. The rest, as they say, is history…
Mint is the best way to make a good idea for your foot feeling like a baby shark.
The picture doesn’t do justice to the evil that is sharting. Especially in the middle of a long run.
Sorry; the automod here seems to have removed a naughty word in the URL. Linking directly to the picture.
Bring back memories of tthe removed dog. It never fails to make me smile…
Form yor own opinion. This is the original thread. A follow-up thread claimed that it was removed by Reddit admins because the picture of the van showed the company name and phone number. That thread included the fan with blacked-out identifiers and was allowed to stay up until users didn’t start identifying the company in the comments.
There is currently a tiny bit of uproar over at r/irelandshittydrivers. A user took a photo of a work van that blocked two disabled spots. He sent the photo via Whatsapp to the company, which responded in a batshit crazy manner (for some reason, escalated it to praising Osama for 9/11). Naturally, the user posted the photo and the conversation to Reddit. Within a few hours, the company contacted Reddit and had the post removed. If a company with perhaps three customers per week can do it, what do you think large companies can do? Censoring user posts would be only the tip of the iceberg.
Posted on r/KotakuInAction by any chance? I usually run into this kind of complaints because of that sub.
My personal take is that subs that ban people just for posting on other subs are actively perpetuating their little opinion bubbles. They are essentially creating little virtual prisons for their members, and most of them are actually happy about that, which in turn tells all I need to know about those members’ intellectual laziness. To twist around Groucho Marx’ quote, I would refuse to join a sub that rejected me for posting elsewhere.
Ironing is the only time of the week where I have the time to watch TV or movies. Not that I don’t have free time, but I usually spend it in other ways. During ironing, I’m a captive audience. That said, I don’t iron all that much. I remember the last season of The Boys took me four months to finish…
If you worked for me (or any other of about 20 PO’s at my company), you’d be comfortable telling me that you were struggling. You’d explain the challenge and your estimate to completion, and I’d either reshuffle our priority list so that you could park the task and pick another one, or find someone for a pair programming session with you. That’s the common practice, and nobody should care whether you’re yellow on Teams or use a mouse jiggler, as long as you communicate your work and challenges.
I’m still using Winamp 2.91. I’m just too used to it to change. Now, if someone added Flac support to the same interface, I’d be happy. And if someone ported it to Linux and Android, I’d pay big bucks for it.
I’ve had exactly the same experience. Let me addd one more: when OneDrive decides to back up open files, they ate regularly deleted both from local and cloud. Those are the files I tend to use the most, and I grew so frustrated that I ended recreating my Documents folder steucture in my Downloads folder, which doesn’t get synced. (IT is useless; when I complained abou that, they told me that One Drive was a third-party application, and they didn’t support those. )
I’m always pouring the water into a cup or glass, and the attached cap tands to fall down into the path of the stream, lest I use my other hand to hold it. The plastic connestors don’t bother me.
I can’t complain about them. I just rip them off. There may be a law (EU regulation) for bottle manufacturers to tether the caps, but there’s no law againt ripping the caps off.
You know how many bike stands could be built for that money? Dozens!
