Es sind aber auch sehr viele kleine Künstler bei der GEMA, weil es sich trotzdem für die rechnet. Natürlich unterstützt man (z.B. der Weihnachtsmarkt) dann mit den GEMA-Gebühren coolere Künstler, aber eben trotzdem auch die GEMA. Das ist ein Scheißverein der sich einen frechen Anteil der Gebühren selbst einsteckt aber für Künstler alternativlos ist.

I’m not afraid of AI making art. May be because making music is my hobby and I’m not financially dependent on it.

But what I enjoy about making music is the process, not the result. If AI can do it better, so be it, but that won’t drive me away from enjoying the process. And I think that’s the same for painters, photographers, writers,… .

There may be less money in those areas in the future, but people will never stop making art.
