Yeah there 100% is and probably always has been. The yeast strain, the varieties and processing of the barley and hops, the water source, the process etc all make for wildly different products. So a make that has a distinctive and popular beer will absolutely guard the recipe. This was true at least back through the medieval period, and there are some Belgian beers that still have proprietary recipes that are hundreds of years old
If only there were some tried and tested method for the working class to join together and create a power block equal to the company in order to negotiate better pay and conditions and avoid these outrageous tactics. Pity
Is this happening on Ubuntu, or are people just saying it might happen cos they don’t trust canonical?
Also, Mint Debian edition exists and works just fine. I have it on a brand new Intel laptop
Linux users install chrome now…?
A lot of ideas don’t deserve a platform or airtime and people need to realize that. The world is getting more fucked every day because people think that conservatives, fundamentalists, corporations and their bootlickers, and all the other fascist scum have a right to spew their shitty ideas for everyone to hear. Those ideas are sorthless though and they need to be silenced.
Have you tried mint? Its basically Linux windows but breaks less
This is going a long way back but I’m pretty sure you could use it to just slap the shit out of your giant monster guy. That might be a different “play as god” game though…
Its really not though
I had a look at this a few weeks ago and loved some of the features. Having no option to keep data local or any simple cross platform backup (even if those will be implemented later) turned me off a bit. Having sync from PC to phone was great, although it relies on either thier cloud system or doing a bunch of tech setup I’m not good enough to handle. Overall good concept but a lot of things made me uncomfortable.
I then found Obsidian which is similar but seems to have a bunch of better features, and is all stored locally in standard formats. 10/10 If you like the look of any type chack out obsidian
Not trying to start an argument, just curious on your perspective. What makes gnome seem like windows? I really can’t see it myself. For me KDE Neon feels pretty much the same as windows 10 but with more control and customization. Gnome feels kinda more like Android - everything hidden and big ol icons and doesn’t use the whole nested window configuration system
Like literally any respiratory disease as well as all the other bacteria and viruses that spew forth from your mouth every time you open it to make vapid uninformed comments.
We’ve been using masks for this purpose since 1899, not 2019.
You live in a society that provides you with a whole fuckton of advantages and you are responsible for the wellbeing of the people in that society. I know your head is warm and comfortable up there but get it out of your arse mate
I believe that ship has sailed. Unless of course you’re taking about school shootings, maternal mortality rates, etc etc
Because they prevent the spread of disease. An american way to think about it is: A dead customer can’t spend money
Yel that’s exactly what they do. I’ve asked around, and at a guess, half the people I know only have a phone. Whole families just using a phone each to look at YouTube and tiktok, do banking talk to friends on WhatsApp, Snapchat, Facebook. They watch tv, play sport, go out socialising, shopping, etc. They honestly have no use for a PC at all
A huge percentage of people don’t use a computer at work either.
Its easy to get lost in tech, but in reality the vast majority of people in this world just have no use for desktops or laptops.
Jfc man, thanks for the hot tip on the ddg tracker protection! I’ve been using ddg for a while now on the phone and have out some effort into curating apps so most of what I have is private/secure/open source, but I still have a bunch of things like the Netflix app that I know are sketchy. I’ve just gone through every app I have and confirmed things like Jerboa, VLC, antenna pod, etc are all free of trackers. The real fun surorises though were my bank app and my state government services app, which are each on about 45 tracking attempts across 36 categories. The services one even uses two seperste tracker companies. That’s super fun!
Fuck I’m glad I have this ddg add on now :D
I wouldn’t even type fa in by Firefox without the Facebook containers extension. And yeah, chrome can jam it
That is, I fact, exactly what the judge in this case is saying.
