    This was found in the southeast. They’re hard to find since most wild american persimmon trees are male (I believe 1-in-10 are female and produce fruit). They tasted great!

      That’s great that you were able to enjoy them. I heard that the fruits can be incredibly astringent, so it’s nice that the ones you found were good. Living in the Midwest, there are a great deal of opportunities for foraging. I’ll have to post here with my findings as the summer continues on.
