The void priest, most selfish support, Khora’s fellow chain enthusiast - Harrow!
Release date: 2017-06-29
Passive: Harrow possesses 200% Overshields capacity, granting him a maximum of 2,400 Overshields, and spawns into missions with 100% Energy filled.
Condemn - Cast a wave of energy that chains them where they stand. Each enemy held reinforces Harrow’s shields.
Penance - Sacrifice shields to boost reload, and fire rate while converting damage inflicted on enemies into health for Harrow and nearby allies.
Thurible - Channel Harrow’s energy into the Thurible to generate a buff. Once finished, kill enemies to bestow nearby allies with bursts of energy. The more energy channeled the greater the reward for each kill. Headshots produce extra energy.
Covenant - Protect nearby allies with an energy force that absorbs all damage and converts it to a Critical Chance bonus for all those under the Covenant. Headshots are amplified even further.
Acquisition: Main blueprint is awarded upon completion of the Chains of Harrow quest. The Chassis blueprint is acquired from defeating Void Fissure enemies, the Neuroptics blueprint can be found from Rotation A Spy vaults on Pago, Kuva Fortress, and the Systems blueprint is rewarded from Defection missions on Rotations B and C. Both Neuroptics and Systems can also be obtained from Rotation C Kuva Survival on Taveuni, Kuva Fortress.
Overshields are just shields that go over your maximum cap. For most frames you can get up to 1200 extra shields that way, Harrow is special with his doubled cap. They do not contribute to shield gate duration, so they are pretty useless without an external source of damage reduction. Overguard is it’s own thing that goes over both shields and HP, prevents status effects and has it’s own unscaling gate of 0,5sec.
And overshields are only gained from abilities, not from regular recharge?
Yeah, whenever your shield number turns purple you have overshields active. If you ever used any of the Augur set mods you might have noticed it happening, for example.
Thanks. What’s shield gate duration?
I could try to explain it but the wiki already does in way more detail that I can even remember so I’ll link that instead.
Cool
