Stract is an open source search engine where the user has the ability to see exactly what is going on and customize almost everything about their search results. It’s a search engine made for hackers and tinkerers just like ourselves. No more searches where some of the terms in the query arent used, and the engine tries to guess what you really meant.     Since it’s “targeted towards tinkerers and developers” I tried some development-style searches. It gave some pretty random results, of which sometimes only the first one or two were relevant to my search terms. Is it necessary to tinker in order to get this to work well?

      Same here. I tried some searches that I might do at work and it didn’t find what I wanted.

      E.g. “llvm module” doesn’t find the Module class reference page for LLVM.
