    This game has an interesting history. It was fully translated by Sol Press 2 years ago but never published, apparently. Sol Press went defunct in 2021 for failing to pay their taxes…

    It’s a shame, because Sol Press published their releases without DRM. Shiravune, which is a division of DMM Games, appears to have acquired the English language translation rights and localized it. They published this on Johren, encumbered by some of the nastiest DRM on the market.

    On Steam, there’s no mention of DRM, so it’s possible it’s only using the lighter Steamworks DRM. They’ve released a free adult content patch on Johren for Steam users. The other thing is that there’s no Japanese language option with this release, unfortunately.

    The game itself looks a bit odd indeed!

    Does anyone know how to mark a post as NSFW? I don’t think this post requires it but I can’t find an option set it anywhere.

      At least on lemmy.comfysnug.space, there’s a checkbox for NSFW under the Communites dropdown.

        There is a checkbox setting in the admin settings panel to toggle NSFW on a per-instance level. I don’t really mind so long as it’s appropriately tagged.

        Thanks, I’m pretty sure my instance has NSFW disabled at the server level so I don’t see that at all.
