Those… Are both actual quotes, aren’t they?
They might as well be. I know I can see Reno saying that without a moments hesitation.
I’m pretty sure the Reno quote is real. (Edit: It’s not.) The O’Neill one I don’t remember, even though there’s both time travel and evil nanites in late SG1 seasons.
Reno does ask for gum in one episode and she does have a line saying “I can fix that metaphor with duct tape too if you want” but the line from the image, as it’s written, isn’t in the show. I just finished a rewatch recently because I am sad.
That tracks then. The SG1 line in similarly built from actual plot points, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a direct quote too.
That would fit and would make sense why the line is so immediately believable. Even I had to take a hot second to think about it. Meme was well made. Not by me, I’m not that narcissistic yet
I love when Reno calls Stamets “Bobcat”.
I don’t remember O’Neill (2 L’s) ever mentioning nanites.
I am humbled. I still don’t remember that quote but I forgot they actually called them nanites so who knows. Time for another rewatch!
This is why I cry for Discovery. Such a waste.
With a round of wormhole golf after work.
O’Neill’s solution to tiny robots is typically a little bit First Contact, and I don’t mean a bow and arrow.
You wanna see some real shit go down? Send Carter.
You mean Samantha “Starkiller” Carter? Yeah, she brings the pain.
You blow up one sun…
