If it’s gonna take 75 years to get home you might as well violate the prime directive a little. You’ll be dead by the time they punish you anyway.
Harry violates the prime directive a little and sleeps with a consenting alien
Janeway: good news everyone, we’re getting home just in time for the court martial!
Who wouldn’t sleep with Harry?
What are they gonna do, bust him down to… recruit? Lol
There’s been really no follow-up on whether or not that STD ever cleared up, either…
How long do humans live in star trek? (Not red shirts)
It’s about 120 on average. From cannon.
Where’d you get that number?
According to Memory Apha:
The average Human life span had gradually increased during their history largely in part to advancements in nutrition, medicine and technology improving their health and overall quality of life. At one point, it was only thirty-five years. (ENT: “Similitude”) That average roughly doubled by the 20th century. During the 22nd century, it extended to about one hundred years. (ENT: “Observer Effect”). It remained largely the same through most of the 23rd century, though it wasn’t unheard of for people to reach their 120s. (Star Trek) By the mid-24th century, Humans often lived to be 120 years old or more, with the oldest living Human (Leonard McCoy) living to be at least 137 years old. (TNG: “Encounter at Farpoint”)
A few seasons, maybe more.
Also you get to see the sights
Honestly I liked the vibe of Voyager. They basically went on idiotic side quests because it seemed like it would be cool.
I feel like a ton of episodes opened with one character pointing out this wasn’t their business and didn’t help them in any way, another character just going “…but we’re explorers”, and then Voyager getting into some weird shit.
A huge part of why I love Star Trek is because the galaxy seems vast and mysterious, with the Federation only truly understanding a small part of it. Voyager was the king of that shit. There are a ton of Voyager episodes that give us a glimpse into characters and concepts that could be their own series. It really made them feel like drops in a vast ocean.
own series
Like the time Paris and Janeway devolved into lizards and had freaky lizard sex.
I was thinking more the fight club with the rock or the dinosaur aliens, but sure.
Give me a Tuvix spin-off where he hosts family feud already.
There’s coffee in that detour!
Sorry, we only have leola root “captain’s brew”. Is that ok?
Year of Hell, Part 1
hey if I was trapped in the delta quadrant for seven years I’d be a bit irritable at night too

Rules are made to be broken?
They’re more like guidelines anyway.
“The Prime Guideline”, yeah, that sounds impressive
“The Number One Suggestion”
That sounds like a euphamism for Riker proposotioning someone for sex
Hey, you gotta let loose every once in a while
also they had coffee over thereIf voyager went sublight they could time dilate themselves into the future. Idk why I just realized this.
Eh jk I guess they’re too far away anyway. Any Earth they would recognize is gone.
If only they could fly on mushrooms with tardigrade DNA. I wonder how pissed Janeway would be upon learning about spore drive technology.
