Just a very basic post to let newcomers know why there is a lack of communities. Since they might be surprised on initial viewing.

Unlike other instances, such as Beehaw, Burggit does not restrict communities to admins only. We made an active effort to not take up too many communities so that users could start their own.

So, if you’re wondering why there’s a lack of communities, it’s just because people haven’t decided to make them yet. Maybe you’ll be the one to make the first step to starting something new!

      We’re seeing more content posted every day. We had like 3 communities pop up overnight, The /c/touhou_nsfw community being officially moved here from Reddit, their Reddit sub having over 50k users. So, I think it might take a while, but I am optimistic.
