I came into godot at the 4.0 release, and the built in tools are already amazing, even performance wise for 3d.
There’s no easy visual shader editor -not sure if unity has one - but it forced me to learn opengl es, which at the end of the day is a lot more powerful
my name is KDE because i really like kde although i use hyprland
it feels to me like the most modern out of all the window manager
except the time when people try to make it look like modern mac
Just use Godot.
Or GameMaker if you are doing a 2d game, or Unreal if you don’t mind the learning curve. Plenty of other options beyond Unity.
yes i dont know why people dont se that stuff already
however if you do want to make 3d game , i wouldn’t recommend it
