Ex Apollo user here. Dropped Reddit as soon as Apollo shut down and haven’t looked back. Occasionally a Reddit post will return in my search but that’s about it for Reddit.
Same, although there are a couple communities there with no equivalent here, like r/AirForce. I browse Reddit way, way less–and as far as the ads go, I’m glad someone is making money off it, because they won’t be making any money off of me.
That is about the same as me. I do sort of miss some of the subs since I watch a good deal of sports and those don’t seem to be popular with a lot of the Lemmy community.

Why not start them?
I’ve considered it, but between my career, school, and other obligations I’m not sure I have the bandwidth to keep it focused and do it justice.
You could get it up and running, then tag in some of the more active posters as moderators, which gives you redundancy if you are busy elsewhere.
