For me, Yume Miru Kusuri was my first visual novel. I don’t even remember why I played it, but I liked it so much that I’m here forever now.

Not sure it’s been a hell of a long time. Probably Fate, maybe Little Busters! those are the oldest i can remember.

Narcissu though I think I started playing Ever17 around the same time. It’s such a shame the quality and quantity of VNs has declined so much in the last ten years.

It was either The fruit of Grisaia or Nekopara (I don’t remember which). Grisaia was because I enjoyed the anime and the character interactions. Nekopara needs no introduction.

    More recently Dohna Dohna.

I believe it was 999 on the Nintendo DS; I know I didn’t buy any of the GBA Phoenix Wright games and I don’t think I pirated them either.

Probably some small project I got off the lemma soft forums.

My first commercial visual novel was like, half of sweet pool. I saw somebody doing a text let’s play on a message board, and played myself until losing interest.
