I played the hell lot of KF starting back when it was a mod of Unreal Tournament 2004. I have very good memories of LAN parties playing it all night long. But by the time KF2 came to be, I had moved on to other things.
Very excited! I’m hoping they speed the gameplay up by a lot though. KF/KF2 did not age the best because of how sluggish they feel after the sudden speed up a lot of modern shooters have had. If they learn from a lot of other shooters/rogue likes of today then this game is going to be amazing.
My issue with KF2 isn’t the speed, but rather that any player can trigger slow motion. I played with high level players and it was very awkward to go into slow motion every 10 seconds.
