Say it with me. Rushing, being tired, and being overworked does not make you grab someone’s ass or tell them to “calm their tits” or even calling their work “dogshit” on the regular.

That comes from institutional culture issues. When it is clear that management either does it themselves or will look away, the abusers exploit it. They will do that whether everyone is putting in 16 hour days or if people barely even come into the office.

I’m not saying that at all. I’m saying dealing with it correctly is what goes out the window when you are in a rush. The responses we know about paint a picture of an organization that doesn’t want to put the time and effort into handling it, like the Waterblock. People start making excuses to justify it. If Madison reported being touched inappropriately and they did nothing that’s going to be a big deal. If she didn’t report it because they never listened to her anyway, that’s a different kind of problem, but not nearly as severe.

No, that is, again, a load of bullshit.

You don’t have to be well rested to respond to “calm your tits” with “What the hell is wrong with you? My office, now” and a reprimand, if not an improvement plan.

People become abusers because they know they can get away with it. That has nothing to do with crunch and acting like it does mostly is just some bullshit that boils down to “Deep inside, everyone wants to be an abuser”.

You’re misunderstanding me. I’m not downplaying anything. They set their own priorities. They chose content over everything else.
