For example clicking back space in “Any idea what’s going on?” Caused it to read “Any idea what’sgoin”. I’ve only noticed this with Jerboa.

I get the same thing. Mine also screws up if I move the cursor back to the middle of my text and try to add a word. Sometimes it just deletes the entire previous word. I chalk it up to a bug that will get fixed over time.
I’ve encountered something similar with pasting text. It frequently jumps to the beginning of whatever I’ve typed
I’ve noticed the same. I imagine it’s a bug with the particular text editor. I’d recommend opening an issue on github.
