It’s not actually unusual to refer to them as such, especially if they didn’t go through a formal adoption process. I wouldn’t say it’s common where I’m from, but certainly not noteworthy.

I don’t think we should feed the trolls either but suggesting OP is responsible for others making incel cults is extreme.
